Overview of TU BIT

Tribhuvan University recently launched BIT program under the Institute of Science and Technology. Students of this program require to complete 120 credit hours of studies. Candidates wishing to join BIT program choose TU BIT College as their initial preference among the available university choices.

Number of TU BIT Colleges

There are more than 10 BIT Colleges affiliated to TU. All of them are currently constituent colleges of Tribhuvan University. Currently no private colleges have been provided permission to run TU BIT program. Thus, there are no private TU BIT Colleges.

Admission Requirements to join TU BIT Colleges

Students interested in joining a TU BIT  College should have completed +2 level or Intermediate in any management or science stream.

While applying for the admission students should submit the following documents:

  • He or she should have accurately filled and signed admission form
  • He or she must present the Photocopy/copy of certificates of SLC and +2 or intermediate level
  • He or she must have Character certificates issued by the academic institutes attended
  • He or she must provide recent passport size photos

Eligibility criteria for BIT program

Students must have completed Plus2 and secured minimum second division marks. They must pass the entrance exam conducted by IOST, TU and completed all application procedures.
