With the advancement of rapidly growing technology based companies and networking based digital global economy the significance of Bachelor of Information Technology program cannot be undermined. Most of the businesses today are backed up by Information technology to provide quality and timely service to the customers, suppliers and stakeholders. Computer science is a cutting edge technological revolution that has boomed since the last decades. Most of the organizations rely on computer networks to keep records and carry out informed decisions to forge ahead in the market. In Nepal, although there are less BIT Colleges than other programs in Bachelor level they still provide an integrated and complete courses with four years of extensive study with project work, seminars, guest lectures with industrial focus learning and placements services. Earlier, most of the Nepalese students after Plus 2 had to leave the Country to go abroad and study IT programs. But now we have some very good BIT programs with honors in Nepal affiliated to University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, London Metropolitan University, Nilai University,Coventry University and Lincoln University so that the locals get an opportunity to study BIT program in three years with international validity. They can also go on an internship program abroad and also benefit from international degrees equivalent to Tribhuvan University of Nepal.
